What version of Draw do I need?
Most macro work great in CorelDraw version x4 and up. Many will work in older versions of Draw as well. See the version compatibility chart to make sure that the macro you want has been tested in your CorelDraw version.
Are the macros easy to use?
Yes, But I recommend you are have at least an intermediate computer AND CorelDraw knowledge. Take some time to familiarize yourself with your new macro and be patient. After using the macro many times you will most likely begin to love your new time saver!
When will I be able to download my purchased macro?
As soon as I verify your payment was successful. Usually within at least 4 hours during business hours, but sometimes sooner. I will send an email that lets you know you can download it. You can access the downloads section here.
How do I install your macro?
Extract the contents of the downloaded .zip file to C:\Program Files\Corel\CorelDRAW Graphics Suite X4\Draw\GMS
The folder "CorelDRAW Graphics Suite X4" may vary depending on your CorelDraw version. Just make sure the .gms file is in that folder. When you restart draw the macro will be accessible. Also see the illustrated getting started section of the site.
How do I add a shorcut to my macro in CorelDraw?
After you have copied the gms file to the correct location and restarted CorelDraw you go to Tools>Customization.
Then in the customization section make sure you choose Commands. You will see a large list of all of the icons you can add to your toolbars on the right. From the dropdown menu you can choose Macros so it will show only macros installed. Drag and drop the icon of the GDG macro to a toolbar of your choice. Assign a shortcut key in the same section. What is the difference between the standard and open source versions?
Standard just means you can't see my ultra top secret coding practices. If your not a vba code then this is all you need. If you want to learn vba or see some of the awesome coding practices I use then purchase the expensive "pay if you wanna play" open source version.
Do I get free upgrades?
You can download your macro 5 times for each purchase. It is a good idea not to waste your downloads as you can come back later and download upgrades, up to 5 times. Simply log in to the MyOrder Page using the username and password you used when you purchased your macro and download it. After you have downloaded the product 5 times you will have to repay in order to download again. I believe this is super fair because I do not use any special activation code for the use of the macro. You can use as long as you wish, reinstall as many times as needed, and use on as many computers as you need. Please respect 1 macro per user. Some macros will have updates and even add new features. Sometimes these upgrades will be free (as long as you still have downloads left), and sometimes they will not be free. Macros will usually be supported in at least 2 versions of Draw before a new version is released that would require a new full purchase.
