Answers

What version of Draw do I need?

Most macros on this are available for CorelDraw version x4 and up. For commercial macros they work in only one version, which is the version you purchase them for. IE, if you purchase an X8 macro it will only and forever only be licensed to work in X8, no other version of Draw.

Are the macros easy to use?

Yes, But I recommend you are have at least an intermediate computer AND CorelDraw knowledge. Take some time to familiarize yourself with your new macro and be patient. After using the macro many times you will most likely begin to love your new time saver! Some macros are a little more complex than others.

When will I be able to download my purchased macro?

As soon as I verify your payment was successful. Usually within at least 4 hours during business hours, but sometimes sooner. I will send an email that lets you know you can download it. You can access the downloads section here.

How do I install your macro?

Extract the contents of the downloaded .zip file to C:\Program Files\Corel\CorelDRAW Graphics Suite X4\Draw\GMS

The folder "CorelDRAW Graphics Suite X4" may vary depending on your CorelDraw version. Just make sure the .gms file is in that folder. When you restart draw the macro will be accessible. Also see the illustrated getting started section of the site.

How do I add a shorcut to my macro in CorelDraw?

After you have copied the gms file to the correct location and restarted CorelDraw you go to Tools>Customization.

Then in the customization section make sure you choose Commands. You will see a large list of all of the icons you can add to your toolbars on the right. From the dropdown menu you can choose Macros so it will show only macros installed. Drag and drop the icon of the GDG macro to a toolbar of your choice. Assign a shortcut key in the same section. Also see the illustrated getting started section of the site.

What is the difference between the standard and open source versions?

Standard just means you can't see my ultra top secret coding practices. If your not a vba code then this is all you need. If you want to learn vba or see some of the awesome coding practices I use then purchase the expensive "pay if you wanna play" open source version.

Do you have an upgrade price? (Upgrades and Policy)

I'm sorry but no. Macros are sold as a product to fit only the version of Draw they are noted to support. Macros will not work in another version of Draw if not specified and there is no upgrade price to get a macro that supports a different version. Please buy the macro you need for the version of you you need to use it in.
I believe this is very fair because the price is cheap for the macro and I do not use any special activation code for the use of the macro. You can use as long as you wish, reinstall as many times as needed, and use on as many computers as you need. Please respect 1 macro per user.

Some macros will have updates and even add new features. Sometimes these upgrades will be free (as long as you still have downloads left), and sometimes they will not be free.
Macros will be supported in 1 major version of Draw before a new version is released that would require a new macro purchase. Once again, I believe this to be very fair because my macros do not contain any strict activation procedures or hardware locks.

I recommend you safely store the macro file on your computer and do not lose it! However, you can download your macro up to 5 times for each purchase. It is a good idea not to waste your downloads as you can come back later and download minor upgrades or fixes to the gms file if I release any. Simply log in to the MyOrder Page using the username and password you used when you purchased your macro and download it. After you have downloaded the product 5 times you will have to repay in order to download again. I believe this is very fair because I do not use any special activation code for the use of the macro. You can use as long as you wish, reinstall as many times as needed, and use on as many computers as you need. Please respect 1 macro per user.

When will you have all of the X8 macro ready?

I will get to each when it is requested if it will be continued. Usually one or so per week or two if I am upgrading a particular macro. If you need a macro to be licensed in X8 please contact me. I may not continue to support all of the macros. As we move forward some macros will be discontinued. No macros are guaranteed to be continued into future versions of CorelDraw.

Do I get to use my macros forever and any version of Draw that it will work in?

Macros are licensed in certain versions of Draw. Purchase the macro you need for each version. If you use several different versions of Draw you will need to purchase different license versions of each. As far V9-12, X3-X5, and X6 are considered different license groups.
If you are using a macro in a version of Draw that you did not purchase it for you do so at your own risk and against what I noted on this site as a license. Please support this site by purchasing the macro for the correct Draw version you are using.

Do macros work in any version of CorelDraw?

Each macro has a version that it will work in and a new commercial macro needs to be purchased for each version. Macro is only licensed to be used in the version for which it is purchased. Example, if you buy the X6 version of a macro it will only and forever only work in CorelDraw X6 and no other version.

I cannot see the demo videos

These are standard Flash videos and some have sound. Make sure you have the Flash player installed and up to date. Also I HIGHLY recommend using the Free Mozilla FireFox browser as your web browser of choice.

I am getting Error Runtime 94.

This happens because you are using regional settings on your computer that make use of a comma instead of a period for a decimal place. A quick fix is to change the computers regional settings so it will use the period instead of the comma for all decimal places. This is mostly pertaining to my older macros and if changing regional settings is not an option for you please contact me. I will have to make an adjustment in the macro.

Can I get a macro to run in another version of Draw for an upgrade price?

I'm sorry but no. Macros are sold as a product to fit only the version of Draw they are noted to support. Macros will not work in another version of Draw if not specified and there is no upgrade price to get a macro that supports a different version. Please buy the macro you need for the version of you you need to use it in.

My country is not listed in your checkout form.

Enter any country and then change it to the correct country when you arrive at PayPal. You can complete your purchase, then login and download your macro after payment.

The reason you country is not listed is because the shopping cart came with a certain amount of default countries. I can add your country to the cart so it will appear if you would like, just let me know.

Do macros work in the HOME and STUDENT edition or Pirated versions of CorelDRAW?

NO. The macros sold here do not work in either. Macros do not work in the Home and Student edition so please do not purchase or download anything from this site if you use this version. As well, all macros on this site do not work in a pirated or illegal version of CorelDraw.

Macro no longer starts - Where are saved setting for the macro?

If your macro was working and no longer does then it's possible one of the saved settings for the macro are incorrect. The saved setting are located in the registry here: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\VB and VBA Program Settings

You can open regedit in Windows by going to Start > Run or Start > Search and typing regedit then pressing enter. You can view the settings and delete them if necessary. Do not delete anything else in the registry except for items in this key (VB and VBA Program Settings). Most times deleting the saved settings for a particular macro will fix the issue.

If you are unsure about editing registry, don't. Edit only at your own risk. If you only edit or delete items in (VB and VBA Program Settings) you won't have any issues.
